Suicide rates have risen in the U.S. and young people (ages 10-18) are a high-risk age group. The good news is that parents can meet this risk head-on! Join us for three Thursday nights (April 24, May 1, May 8) for this online training. All are welcome but space is limited.

About the event
Raising kids is hard, and the topic of youth suicide can leave parents feeling overwhelmed, helpless, or scared — even if their student doesn’t seem to be at risk. Once you add in the normal stress and busy-ness of life, it’s easy to opt out of a conversation about suicide prevention.
Unfortunately, the numbers show us that the conversation needs to happen. According to data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), one in five high school students seriously considered attempting suicide in 2023. Suicide is one of the leading causes of death in young people: between 2007-2021, suicide deaths among 10- to 24-year-olds increased by 62%.
